Medal of Honor In-Game Reward Offered to those who Purchase Battlefield: Bad Company 2 New

The forthcoming Medal of Honor reboot is undoubtedly one of the most highly-anticipated releases currently confirmed for October 2010, and along with an update to Electronic Arts’ official UK website comes confirmation that the previously suggested in-game bonus will be available to UK gamers who purchased a new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Set for release at retail on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC – as well as being available digitally on PC – gamers who purchased a brand new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and redeemed their packed-in code will receive a unique weapon in Medal of Honor when it launches this October.
Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. Over two million Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines wear the uniform. Of those, approximately fifty thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane of existence above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Electronic Theatre ImageForces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor is inspired by and has been developed with Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players will step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile battlefield conditions of present day Afghanistan.
Medal of Honor is set to launch worldwide this October on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and gamers who purchased Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will receive early access to the M24 Rifle seen on this page.Medal of Honor is expected to feature heavily in Electronic Art’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) line-up in Los Angeles next month, and Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details.
